These have been developed to be used to help shape work commissioned by agencies; it sets out a set of criteria which need to be considered in the design of a consultation process.

Gathering evidence of good practice

To be able to better influence both policy and practice, we felt that it would be useful to gather evidence of what we understood to be good practice and how to make it happen. Two workshops were organised for practitioners to work with peers to capture stories of good practice.

Each story stands on its own, but also helps build up a picture of the many stages of a good participatory process that will lead to change in decision-making processes. The stories will be collated into a larger publication accompanied by an overview article that draws out the principle lessons learned about developing and delivering good practice.

Reports

As a group we have met four times since April 2004; the meetings have taken the form of residentials and a programme is developed at each meeting, agreeing on the issues we would like to focus on. Reports are available for each meeting:
